Sara is winner of eight ROMANTIC TIMES awards which include the Award for Best Western Historical Romance Writer and the Award for Best Contemporary Fiction Writer.

Sara was also awarded Oklahoma Writer Of The Year, by the University of Oklahoma. She has been on Waldenbooks and B. Dalton bestseller lists over fifty times. Her next historical release will be Comanche Passion, August 1999. Sara is a professor in the Creative Studies department at the University of Central Oklahoma and belongs to the American Association of University Professors, Romance Writers of America, and Novelist, Inc.
